States: VIRGINIA

virginia is for lovers. history lovers! that is.
As you read American history it
seems that every thing happened here...

1. Pocahontas lived here, in a home like this... in this forest... by this river... don't google it! If you saw Disney's "Pocahontas" or Cameron's "Avatar": Cute, agile and assertive daughter of a local chief falls in love with the scout of an expedition looking for precious metals... circle of life... everything... that's pretty much her story. Except the real Pocahontas didn't end up with the adventurous scout, she married the boring company project manager and moved to England in a boat like this.

2. Washington's home is here... and Jefferson's too, (not far away.)

3. The broken homes of the 60's, 1860's that is,  ...still here!

4.  Last shots for the independence war: Fired here, some by this cannon, in these fields.

5.  Our heroes lie here, and down river at Arlington.

6.  History lives here. People dress up -every day-  to keep it alive.

7. That is, when it comes to history lovers, Virginia is it.
